Product Description
The Punch Golden Era Robusto cigar is a premium tribute to the Corojo-era of Cuba. The blend of this 5 x 50 classic Robusto is comprised of a Honduran Corojo wrapper, a Honduran Havana seed Corojo binder, and a combination of Honduran Habano and Corojo long fillers. Corojo tobacco is appreciated for its oiliness, deep brown hue, and subtle veins, as well as its distinctive flavor. Unfortunately, this type of tobacco is vulnerable to bluemold disease which results in a low yield. However, the Eiroa family have been growing Corojo on their 650-acre farm in Honduras for many years. Each Golden Era Robusto cigar is carefully made at Christian Eiroa's Fabrica de Puros Aladino factory in Honduras. The smoke is medium-bodied, and provides notes of earth, leather, cinnamon, spice, and a signature sweetness that is only achievable with Corojo tobacco. Get a box of 20 from 1st Class Cigar and enjoy this collaboration between Christian Eiroa and Punch, paying homage to the days of Punch's golden Corojo tobacco era.
