THE Reminton arrived in solid packaging on a pallet. The interior and exterior was flawless. There was a heavy smell of fresh cedar. After placing and letting sit for 24 hours, (this was the hardest part) to allow the refrigerant to settle, I started up the unit. It now maintains my precious collection within 2° and 2%. Everyone who has seen it has commented on it, even people who are anti-smoking!

This unit can not keep an accurate humidity reading. The control panel up top is held on by to-face-tape and keeps coming off. The wood and glass door are nice. (Posted on 10/26/21)

Bought The Remington humidor after much deliberation and searching for something that could keep my growing collection of cigars. The staff a 1st Class Cigar Humidors was very helpful and knowledgeable. The unit arrived a few days after being shipped, and once we got it into the house it has been working flawlessly. I agree - online shopping is always a gamble, not to mention something as big and mechanical and important as a 2000 cigar humidor that heats, cools and humidifies. So I was prepared.

But I must say that its everything it is supposed to be: it works, it looks good and ... it is still working just fine 2+ years later. You have to monitor it (I need to fill the tank 2x/week in the dry season), but that's actually a pleasure, since I enjoy opening it up and seeing (and smelling) all those fabulous cigars in there aging nicely.

So, all I can see is: if you need a humidor that holds this number of cigars, buy this one. Not kidding. (Posted on 5/1/18)

I have been in search of that perfect humidor for quite some time. Aesthetics were important but functionality, quality construction and price appropriate were a must.
The Remington has exceeded in all areas.

Shopping online is always a gamble. When this product arrived I was completely and pleasantly impressed. This is not a knock off piece of furniture with a feeble attempt to be converted to a humidor. The Remington is designed and constructed with the highest of quality. Not only is it aesthetically impressive, I cannot imagine a more appropriate way to store my prized collection of every day smokes to my prized special stick collection that has grown over the years. The days of working and worrying about how multiple box type humidors were functioning are absolutely over.

My only critique, if I have to come up with one, is that it is under promoted. Neither the site picture and description, nor the sales rep pitch, go anywhere near promoting this incredible piece. Simply, it's beautiful and it works, both far beyond what is promoted. Not seeing in person is a disservice, especially to the customer that does not buy it.

To top it all off, the after order customer service was exceptional and surprisingly fun. Kaili was an absolute joy to work with. Quick email responses, and phone calls (when indicated), filled with friendly, accurate, and obvious customer focused dialogue. Kaili truly made me feel like I was her only customer and that my satisfaction was her primary objective. A very rare customer service experience.

So, if you are serious about appropriately housing and displaying your hand rolled passages of pleasure like I am, the Remington is the showpiece to get you there.

When I first came across THE Remington for sale I was excited! This is exactly what I was looking for and the price was great! The information provided on the web site was good but I still had some questions that I needed answered. I called and spoke to Daniella and she was very knowledgable, answered all my questions and even provided additional insight and information that made me feel comfortable to commit.

The delivery company could not have arrived any sooner. and when I got the call that they were on the way I left work early to meet the driver. And then all my excitement came to a halt when the delivery driver told me that he was going to leave this massive heavy humidor in my driveway? When I asked him why he cant use his dolly and help me put it in my house he explained that "this is not white glove delivery service". After being extra nice to him and giving him a nice "tip $" he help me bring it into the house. If anyone orders this be ready to bring it in or inquire if white glove delivery is available for an extra fee.

Now that the humidor was in my house the directions were easy to understand and for the most part this is a plug it in, fill with distilled water, set it, load in your cigars and forget it simple set up!

I did need to calibrate it once I realized that my 3rd party internal hygrometers were a bit off compared to the device. It was easy to do. I also noticed that your really need to fill up the humidor in order to get it working properly so if you done have enough cigars then maybe you should consider the smaller version.

Bottom line this is the greatest humidor that I've ever owned! I would recommend it to anyone! It always is at 68-70 / 68-70!!!! (Posted on 2/3/16)

This humidor is outstanding. It is well built and sturdy. The door fits well and closes tightly. I was concerned about the humidification system and figured I would probably have to upgrade but that does not seem to be the case. After appropriate seasoning (about a week) it holds the temp and humidity very steady. My only complaint is that the humidity adjustment is in 2 degree increments and I wish it was 1. This is pretty picky though. Overall this is one of my best purchases. (Posted on 2/3/16)
