Introducing the NEW Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0 Electric Humidifier for mid-size humidors. Guaranteed to keep your cigars fresh day after day! The Cigar Oasis XL Plus 3.0 electronic humidifier is designed for large desktop humidors, cigar end tables, chests and other cigar enclosures which house from 300 to 1000 cigars (up to 10 cubic feet).
It is based on the same exclusive Cigar Oasis technology and uses the same small 6" W x 2" L x 3.5" H structure. The difference is that the Plus model distributes its moisture through the use of a more efficient water cartridge that allows for increased airflow delivering more humidification / moisture to achieve the desired humidity level.
Operation: The Cigar Oasis Plus carries a near identical appearance to the renowned Cigar Oasis Excel, however, improvements to its air flow characteristics have been altered to allow for greater air circulation. Simply place the Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0 inside a closed humidor enclosure and air will begin to be drawn in to the inlet vents of the Oasis control unit. The air will then be channeled into the attached water cartridge where it is then "humidified" and released into the humidor. The greater air circulation ability of the Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0 humidifier provides for ultra-fast humidity regulation within your humidor. The unit is factory set at 70% RH, but can be adjusted to your own personal preference. Once the desired humidity level is reached, a unique sensor monitors and insures that the humidity stays fixed at that set level. If you open your humidor and the humidity drops below the set point, the Oasis sensor will trigger the fan to bring humidity levels back to the specified preset. The PLUS 3.0 now has a built-in Smart Humidor® Wi-Fi which allows users to monitor and adjust humidity from anywhere using any Apple iOS or Android smart device with a subscription. The Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0 electric humidifier accurately measures and reliably controls the humidity in your humidor.

Not sure why I waited to get one. The digital screen lets you set the humidity down to the tenth of a percent. Works great, quiet, and well worth the investment if you have a larger humidor. It is expensive compared to your basic non-electronic humidifier, but it is worth it. You get what you pay for and this does not disappoint. I've been using beads for the past 15 years and finally decided to make the switch to a more automated way of maintaining my humidor. I still use it with beads as the Oasis has no way of correcting for over humidification so you still need something to absorb the humidity if it rises above your preset. So you still need to keep an eye on it. The setup and installation was a breeze and it seems to be working fine at keeping my new humidor at 65%. I still have beads in my other two humidors and after I am confidant in the oasis plus I will make the switch on the others. Just soak the unit in distilled water for 15 min or so, place I cabinet and plug in. It has kept my humidor at a precise 66% relative humidity since installation.
